Samsung Galaxy A50

The Samsung Galaxy A50 was launched as part of Samsung’s new Galaxy A-series this year. The phone was announced by the South Korean tech giant during the Mobile World Congress 2019. Talking about the updates, the Galaxy A50 has already received some important security updates, but now getting updated with some more features.

The new update comes with software version A505FDDU2ASF2 and brings the June 2019 security patch along with the night mode and super slow-motion in the camera app. The Galaxy A50 users can now use their phone’s camera to scan QR codes without requiring Bixby Vision.

In April this year, the handset received an update with a series of fixes and device stability improvements. The major fix was for the stability issue in Smart View. The new update is reported to be rolling out in India, but those who haven’t got it yet can check manually by going to Settings » Software update. It will soon be landing for more smartphones around the world via OTA (over-the-air).

The Samsung Galaxy A50 launched in India along with Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 mid-range phones. Despite being a mid-ranger, it offers some good features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and Quad 2.3GHz + Quad 1.7GHz processor.
