2019 is the year of Xiaomi Mi 9 series, and we have already seen Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Explorer Edition in the market. The next device in the line will be the Xiaomi Mi 9T. Reports are surfacing that it’s rebranded version of the flagship Redmi K20 for the international market. The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro were launched a few days back in China.
However, it’s confirmed that both Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will hit the Indian market with the same name and specs. Today, Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted about the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro launch in India. Although the launch date is not confirmed yet. Check out his tweet:

Now, talking about the Xiaomi Mi 9T launch date, Xiaomi also took Twitter to announce the news. The phone will be launched on June 12 with a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Check out the official tweet:

The company has not made any official word regarding the specs of the Mi 9T, but rumors and leaks hinting that the phone might come with Snapdragon 730 SoC. It’s important to note that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro packs the Snapdragon 855.
Seeing the less powerful chipset, we can expect the price of Mi 9T to be lower than the K20. We’re waiting for more information, so stay tuned.
