Red Dead Redemption 2 was released last year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and has garnered various accolades from players and critics in general. Occupying a monstrous space in the players’ HD the title came to be sold in a combo with PS4 1TB of space. But PC gamers were left, as Rockstar never commented on its launch on Windows, Mac or Linux.

We came to see some videos of alleged leaks from a PC version, but nothing had been confirmed about it. However, a recent leak brings hope to the keyboard and mouse gamers who still dream of getting their hands on the game.

The screenshot of the code suggesting PC port for the Red Dead Redemption 2 is shared on Twitter by a user JakoMako51. Check it out:

A script hosted on a developer’s website seems to be anticipating the announcement of the expected PC version. In it are found information like “RDR2_PC_Acomplishments“, making a reference to goals that can be reached in the profiles of the players, as, for example, with the PSN trophies.

Since this is a leak coming directly from the company, a probable confirmation may appear faster than we think. In any case, it is good for those interested to keep in mind that the minimum requirements should be robust since it is an AAA game released only for the most powerful consoles of the current generation.

Interestingly, Red Dead Redemption 1 does not have a version for Windows. Can we wait for a port via Steam in the future too?
