After the success of A-series, Xiaomi has launched Redmi 7A budget smartphone in the Indian market. It’s the successor to Redmi 6A which was launched in June 2018 along with Redmi 6 budget smartphone. The new Redmi 7A comes with some new features and upgraded tech.

It has a 4000 mAh battery which the company claims can offer up to two days of backup. It is 33% larger than the one on Redmi 6A. The phone also comes with a built-in antenna which helps you listen to your favorite FM channel with ease.

The Xiaomi Redmi 7A budget smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and a 5.45-inch (13.84 cm) HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. There is a 2GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 256 GB.

At the rear, you get a single 12MP camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The is fueled with a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery which is rated to deliver up to 19 days of standby time. There is Adreno 505 GPU. The Redmi 7A offers 4G VoLTE, UMTS, GSM, 4G LTE, WCDMA, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Bluetooth v4.2.

The phone has a plastic build, offers Face Unlock feature, dual-SIM connectivity and runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box. The company is also offering 2 years of warranty on Redmi 7A and 6 months on the accessories.

The Redmi 7A will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 5,799 for 2GB+16GB variant & Rs. 5,999 for 2GB+32GB variant. It will go on sale starting July 11 from Mi Online Store, Mi Home, and Flipkart.
