After the Z-series, Chinese smartphone company Vivo is all set to launch the new Vivo S-series in India. The first phone under the series will be Vivo S1 and as per the launch invite, the phone will be seeing the light of the day on August 7. It’s worth noting that it’s the same date when Samsung will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event to launch the Galaxy Note 10.
The Vivo S1 has already been launched in China under the mid-range price tag. Now, the Vivo India has released a couple of teasers regarding the launch of the handset in India. The phone will have a waterdrop notch on the display housing a 32MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup.

Other specifications of Vivo S1 includes three cameras at the rear with 16-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors, 6.38-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The phone is driven by MediaTek Helio P65 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 4,500mAh battery, and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 skin on top.
It has connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, and USB OTG support.
The company has not announced the official price yet for the Indian market, so we’ve to wait for the official launch.
