Shortly after we had rumors about the arrival of Vivo Y90 in the Indian market, which includes the press renders of the handset, the phone is now official. The Vivo Y90 has been launched in India and Pakistan under the budget price segment.
The handset offers a big 4,030 mAh battery with a promise of a good backup. You’ll get a 6.22-inch Halo FullView display with a waterdrop notch, 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
The Vivo Y90 is driven by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, houses a 5MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP single rear camera with f/2.0 aperture accompanied by an LED flash. At the budget price tag, you also get face unlock feature, but no fingerprint sensor is given. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

In India, the Vivo Y90 will go on sale starting tomorrow at a price tag of Rs. 6,999 for the 16GB RAM variant. In Pakistan, the phone with 32GB RAM version will be sold for Rs. 8,999. Right now, there is no information on the availability of Vivo Y90 in other global markets.
It’s worth noting that Vivo is ready to launch a new smartphone under the S-series, the Vivo S1 on August 7 in India. It’ll also arrive under the mid-range price segment and it’s already official in India.
