Black Shark, a subsidiary of Xiaomi for gaming smartphones has just confirmed that a new variant of Black Shark 2 is coming to market later this month. The company through its official account on the Chinese social network Weibo reveals that the Black Shark 2 Pro will be launched on July 30.
Xiaomi shared the official launch poster revealing the date, but it doesn’t through light on the technical specifications of the Black Shark 2 Pro. Speculations are being made that the new gaming handset might feature the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform.

The chipset offers a GPU 15% faster than the previous model and the CPU counts with a speed of 2.96 GHz in overclocking. Not only, Xiaomi, but soon other OEMs like Asus, Nubia, iQOO, etc going to use the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC in their flagship devices.
The competition will be very fierce, and Black Shark is expected to stand out in the market offering an extremely powerful and very aggressive price alternative. So sit back tightly and wait for the launch.
