HMD Global is participating in the IFA 2019 and now it has confirmed its event date. The company has tweeted an image which reveals September 5 as the IFA 2019 event. According to the manufacturer, this will be the first time Nokia-branded smartphones will be on show at the traditional technology fair in Berlin.
In addition, taking the opportunity, HMD Global also issued an invitation to a press conference due to take place at 4 pm Berlin time on September 5. However, the company declined to elaborate on what the event will be about. The company’s only recommendation to its customers was for them to “stay tuned” over the next few days. Check out the tweet below:

Although doesn’t mention what products it will present in Berlin, the tech market already knows that HMD Global is working on the successors of Nokia 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1. That’s because even the design of future Nokia 5.2, 6.2 and 7.2 has already been leaked by some sources.
Thus, it appears that IFA 2019 must be the largest event for new mid-range devices to be announced. Rumors also point out that the company is still preparing a successor to the Nokia 9 PureView.
However, HMD Global is unlikely to present this device at the IFA 2019. This is because it’ll be the top of the line device and the company intends to make an exclusive event for the device of five rear cameras.
Remember that IFA 2019 should take place between September 6 and 11 and, as usual, Tech Carving will provide full coverage.
