Honor has just released a poster to announce a new model from the Honor 20 smartphone family, Honor 20S. The company confirmed the date of the event through the Chinese social network Weibo, which will be held on September 4, next Wednesday. The company has also started taking pre-orders for the Honor 20S.
So far the information suggests that the main announcement in the event may be the Honor 20S, which is the big bet because of leaks that have occurred over the past few days displaying the device name on Google Play Console and some of its technical specifications, including even the new Android 10.
The pre-order poster shows the handset from the rear revealing the blue color and three camera sensors. The launch poster reveals another color option that goes from pinkish white to a stronger shade of pink and ending with a blue tone at the bottom.
As a result, the Honor 20S may show little design change from the original model and the main point of change should be the 6.26-inch display with circular notch housing the 32 MP front camera.
On the rear, Honor 20S will have triple sensors with 48MP primary lens, 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP sensor for the depth of field data. We’re expecting the handset to feature Kirin 980 chipset with 8GB and up to 12GB of RAM options.
There will be 128 GB and 256 GB of storage models and the battery capacity will be 3,750 mAh with fast charging support.
