Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Started Receiving August 2019 Security Patches

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series

Samsung’s number of high-end devices has grown slightly this year. Last year we had only the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus and Galaxy Note 9. This year we have the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10e and the recently announced Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

This means there are two more phones to support the flagship line. Still, Samsung continues to look for the latest security packages for them.

Today, a new update released for the entire Galaxy S10 family brings the August 2019 security package, which was also made available for the Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy S9 series recently.

The changelog is very short and cites the classic stability improvements and bug fixes in the system. The update weighs approximately 112 MB and is being released first in Europe.

It is already being released for all eligible models via the OTA (over-the-air) and should gradually land on more handsets around the world. Those who can’t wait for OTA to pop-up can try to search for the update through the operating system settings menu.
