A couple of days back, we shared the news that besides Samsung and Realme, Xiaomi is also working on a smartphone with a 64MP camera. But now it seems that Xiaomi is leaping a step ahead. Today it confirmed that soon the company will debut 100MP camera sensor.
Xiaomi’s Global Vice President and Xiaomi India Head, Manu Kumar Jain took Twitter to announce the news that after the 64MP camera phone, Xiaomi will bring the 100MP camera phone that’ll have the sensor with 108000000 pixels and 12032×9024 resolution. Check out the tweet below:

The tweet also hints that the Redmi/Xiaomi’s 64MP camera smartphone will be launched in India in the fourth quarter this year. That is, at least till or before December. Speculations are being made that it can be the Mi Mix 4, however, there is no official word right now.
As far as the 64MP camera phone is concerned, we’re expecting it to be of the Galaxy A series and should be officially announced between September and October. For this also, the company has not made any word.
We’re keeping an eye on each and every update, so stay tuned.
