Xiaomi today unveiled its new 30W wireless charging technology. Known as “Mi Charge Turbo“, the new charging technology should reach the consumer with the release of the Mi 9 Pro 5G.
According to data shared by Xiaomi at the presentation, the new Mi Charge Turbo is capable of charging a 4,000 mAh battery from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes. To reach 100%, it will take approx 69 minutes.
The news also has another striking feature: the reverse wireless charging stand and a unique vertical charger of this technology. The company via Twitter shared the news with teaser images. See below the tweet with promotional material presented by Xiaomi:

The Chinese giant also took the opportunity to release a video showing its new 30W wireless charger. One of the points highlighted by the company is the large area where the mobile phone can be used.
Note that the smartphone can be placed anywhere on the device for charging. Xiaomi also says the new technology is now a much more attractive option and faster than wired charging.
Additionally, the company also confirmed that it’s also working on 40W wireless charging technology. It should probably be launched in conjunction with some Redmi series phone.
Remember that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G will be the second 5G phone from Xiaomi and first to hit the market with 30W wireless charging. The first Xiaomi 5G phone was Mi MIX 3 5G. However, we do not have a specific release date and technical specs yet of the Mi 9 Pro 5G.
Rumors are surfacing on the internet indicating the presence of a QHD screen, OIS camera, wired fast charging support, 4,000 mAh battery, and Android 9.0 Pie.
