Google Pixel 4 in Black, Red and White

Google finally introduced the new Pixel 4 and 4 XL to the world. As we know, these are the most leaked smartphones so far, therefore, for many people the company did not bring big surprises. Even so, we are talking about two handsets positioned within the high-end category with Snapdragon 855 SoC.

In addition, the new generation of the Pixel family also has the difficult mission of moving on the title of the best camera phone in the Android world. Along with the 4th-gen Pixel phones, Google also launched other products including the Nest Mini, Pixelbook Go, Nest Hub Mini, etc. Now without further ado, let’s get to know the new Google devices.

Design of Pixel 4 & Pixel 4 XL

When Google confirmed the design of the new Pixel 4 and 4 XL, a lot of people didn’t like the company’s choices. That’s because the devices bring the controversial square module to accommodate both rear cameras and the LED flash.

The set closely resembles what Apple has done with the iPhone 11 series, and it seems that this should become something of a standard in the smartphone industry. With its glass construction, the biggest difference between Pixel 4 and its big brother is the size of the screen.

While the smaller model features a 5.7-inch OLED display, the 4 XL adopts the same display but with 6.3 inches and different resolution. In either case, Google delivers a 90 Hz refresh rate, something that should appeal to the gaming society.

This year, the search giant decided to follow the trend of previous generations and introduced Motion Sense as the biggest news. This feature will work thanks to Soli technology, which is a sensor designed to allow you to perform hand movements at a distance from your smartphone.

This will allow users to change a music track, move to the next photo, or switch apps without touching the screen. Both handsets run Android 10 out of the box.
