During its annual Made by Google event, Google has just presented a series of new products already expected and leaked in recent days. In addition to the new Pixel 4 line smartphones the company has confirmed the second generation of Pixel Buds headsets, Nest home line including the Wi-Fi hub and Nest Mini smart speaker and Google Pixelbook Go.
This is the new generation of Chrome OS notebook powered by Google itself promising a revamped design, slim body, premium finish and long battery life combined with fast charging to save time when needed.
The new Pixelbook Go aims to be the most popular in the series thanks to the most affordable price starting at $ 649. Regarding the body, we have a high-quality finish with matte cover and textured base to offer greater safety when supported on surfaces.
It comes with just a 13-inch variant with Full HD resolution and classic 16:9 aspect ratio rather than the 4:3 that has become popular in recent years. In terms of connectivity, we have a Type-C USB port and headphone jack on the left, plus a USB-C port on the right.
The notebook has variable hardware offering options with Intel Core M3, Core i5 and even Core i7 processors, models with 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM, as well as variants with 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage. The speakers are located right next to the keyboard, which promises to be quieter and more comfortable.
The battery has improved and can now last up to 12 hours on a full charge, according to the company itself. Fast charging is also included with Pixelbook Go and promises to offer two hours of use in just 20 minutes plugged in.
