Motorola One Zoom and Moto Z4 owners can start preparing internal memory space to download the new stable release of Google’s operating system, Android 10. The news doesn’t reveal a specific date of Android 10 update on Motorola devices mentioned above, but it is expected to happen soon.
The information is based on the recent posting of information about smartphones on the Wi-Fi Alliance website (see below), where both devices appear with their respective model codes, as well as data showing the possible arrival of Android 10 to the devices.
It’s not such big news to see Motorola’s devices about to receive the update, as the company has been working on equipment with less and less customization in order to promote faster updates of the operating system.
In addition, the company has already promised that the Moto Z4 smartphone will not have new versions of Android from Google’s upcoming releases, making the arrival of the 10th version as the last major update because it’s no longer part of the manufacturer’s flagship line.
In contrast, the One Zoom phone will be on Motorola’s update calendar longer, with the Android 11 delivered to the phone, along with the security update packages to be shipped by 2022, as promised by the company.
