Apparently, the Moto G8 family could get a new member soon. This is because Motorola has achieved certification for a new handset that is being called Moto G8 Power and which should be announced running Android 10.
According to the documentation available from the US FCC, this device has a model number XT2041-4. In addition, it should come out of the box with a 5,000 mAh battery, and its screen can be 6.2 or 6.3 inches.
For those who do not remember, the Moto G8 Power has been the subject of comments earlier. That’s because XDA editor Mishaal Rahman revealed that the device was being prepared by Motorola when the company launched the G8 Play and G8 Plus.
Based on what was previously revealed by the WiFi Alliance, the Motorola Moto G8 Power features specifications similar to those found in the G8 Plus. Thus, the device can be launched with Snapdragon 665 processor and support for 2.4 and 5.0 GHz WiFi.
So far, we do not know the other specifications of this device. Even so, these are the dimensions of the new Moto G8 Power: 157.9 mm high, 75.8 mm wide and 165 mm diagonal.
Motorola has also registered a second handset with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). The smartphone comes with the XT2045-2 numbering and it may be the first mobile phone of the brand to feature Snapdragon 765 or 765G processor.
