While India is undergoing a severe quarantine period due to the new coronavirus (Covid-19), Xiaomi has been adapting its launch strategy in the country. As New Delhi does not allow the transport system to deliver non-essential goods, the Chinese woman had to postpone the announcement of the Mi 10 family in the country.
Now, it seems, the Indian government must begin to loosen its policy of social isolation. Therefore, Xiaomi confirmed in a post on Twitter that the launch of the Mi 10 series should happen next Friday (May 8).
The company did not reveal the time of the event but has already made it clear that it should be broadcast to the Indian audience through video platforms. See below the tweet where the company confirms the launch of the devices:
This is gonna evoke a lot of excitement.
This is gonna #EvokeYourImagination.

According to Xiaomi, sales of the Mi 10 will begin shortly after launch through Amazon India, which even has a booking page. According to a Chinese executive, the Mi 10 family will be launched in India with an ad-free MIUI 11.
Advertising on its interface is one of the ways Xiaomi uses to make money, everything indicates that the Chinese are keeping an eye on feedback from the Indian public. Many users complain about annoying ads in some proprietary Xiaomi smartphone applications.
This week, the company also faced a serious privacy issue and this may have influenced the decision to remove Indian MIUI advertising.
