Motorola Razr is Motorola’s premium flagship and its costliest ever phone, now the company is working on the second generation Razr, the Motorola Razr 2020 (a.ka. Razr 5G / Odyssey). The current project is certainly fascinating, but it also has rather large margins for improvement that we should see on Motorola Razr 2.
From rumors, it’s coming out that Motorola is working on this. The sign of Motorola Razr 2 is destined to remain the current one but with improvements: the frames around the folding display, for example, should be thinned, but the most obvious step forward should concern a less bulky “chin” than the current one that would refine the Motorola Razr 2 design.
Another visible change from the render (below) released by a popular tipster Evan Blass (evleaks) is the fingerprint reader, transferred from the side to the back or perhaps in the display, even if the latter scenario, certainly fascinating, should not be simple to realize given the still embryonic state of the displays folding.
Evan says he is certain of the presence of the Snapdragon 765G SoC on Motorola Razr 2020 which would represent a significant step forward compared to the current Snapdragon 710, certainly not a power monster, and would bring support for 5G networks.
A few weeks ago, we also shared this news that Motorola Razr 5G to come with Snapdragon 765G. But let’s wait to see if more information arrives, including from the officials.
