The Motorola Razr 2019 hit the market as the first foldable smartphone brand while bringing new technologies such as flexible display and the nostalgia of the flip format. However, the extremely high price and mediocre specifications ended up preventing the model from becoming a success, causing its hype to end as fast as it started.
Fortunately, Motorola is already preparing a successor, or better saying, a kind of the second version for this device, which would reach the market with even more latest technologies, including support for the 5G networks.
It’s the Motorola Razr 5G which just had its technical specifications leaked by none other than the popular leaker Evan Blass. Check out the below:

As we can see in the tweet above, the model, possibly internally called Motorola Odyssey, and should be launched commercially under the name Motorola Razr 5G.
One of the biggest changes in relation to the current generation is the processor, in this case, a Snapdragon 765G – the same present in the upcoming OnePlus Nord – which brings support to the fifth generation of mobile networks.
We’ll also see an increase in storage, going from 128GB to 256GB and the cameras would be replaced by even better sensors.
Another interesting detail is due to the new color Mercury Silver, which would make sense when we are talking about an improved version of Razr, so an unprecedented nuance would, in fact, be appropriate.
