The previous Note device was Galaxy Note 8 which was launched last year with more powerful hardware than ever, especially the battery blasting issue which was a heavy blow to Samsung. The battery issue forced Samsung to recall millions of devices from consumers as well as from the market globally.
The forthcoming Note device is listed as the Note 9 in the list of trademarks of some important Samsung devices which always get registered in Colombia. The Galaxy Note 9 is at the top of the list with other devices already launched like the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9, A8, etc.
As far as the launch date and specifications the Galaxy Note 9 is concerned, there is no official information from the company. But it is is rumoured to come in Q3 2018 much like its predecessors.
Talking about the specs, the phablet is said to feature an Infinity Display with a QHD+ resolution and a fingerprint reader. This time it is rumoured to be an under-display fingerprint scanner like the one seen in the Vivo Apex Concept Phone.
Other specifications of Galaxy Note 9 surfacing online reports that there will be an octa-core Samsung Exynos 9810 for the European market and the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 for the U.S. version. It’s said to have 6 GB of RAM and 64, 128 or 256 GB of internal storage.
The phablet also rumoured to house a 12 MP dual camera setup at the rear and a battery with a capacity of more than 3300 mAh.
