Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1 Tablet Announced

Asus soon after launching two Chromebooks with 11th generation Intel processors, the company has announced a new Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1. This model, unlike last month’s releases, is a tablet with Chrome OS that can be used with a physical keyboard for an improved user experience.

Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1 Specifications

Asus has published, without fanfare, an official page dedicated to the new device, revealing its technical specifications that include the 10.1-inch LCD screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) distributed in the aspect ratio of 16:10, taking a peak 400 nit brightness and stylus pen support.

There are also two cameras on the Asus Chromebook Detachable CZ1 — one equipped with an 8MP sensor on the rear and one equipped with a 2MP sensor on the front. The physical keyboard is magnetically attached to the device and features an “ErgoLift” design, which promotes comfort during extended use.

A rugged design provides added strength to the “built to military standards” device to withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters per manufacturer’s description. The CZ1 has a durable rubber finish around its body and a 3D texture that prevents unwanted fingerprint marks.

The company has not yet disclosed the launch price of the Chromebook Detachable CZ1.
