Forza Horizon 5 Has Crossed 20 Million Players Mark

Forza Horizon 5 was released in November of last year and, even with negative reviews, it has achieved undeniable success, attracting millions of players. In fact, updating the numbers on what has become the biggest Xbox launch, the fifth game in the racing franchise has passed the 20 million player mark seven months after launch.

This number is displayed on the game’s Hall of Fame table, accessed through the main Horizon Festival website. When reported by the Videogames Chronicle portal, there were 20,012,405 players, as you can see in the image below. The number includes players who purchased the game and also those who installed and played through Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles.

Forza Horizon 5 passes 20 million players

Before the official release, the game already had 1 million players due to the early access of the Premium Edition. As such, the title had already grossed between $36 million and $79 million a week before its general release.

In the week of launch, Xbox confirmed that the game had been played by over 10 million players, making it the biggest first week in its history — and a figure five times that of Forza Horizon 4.
