Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S Smartwatches Unveiled

Garmin unveiled two new smartwatches, the Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S. Both come with a number of extra health features over the original model. Both models offer sleep quality scores and recommendations based on Firstbeat Analytics, tracking light, deep, and REM sleep stages, along with the wearer’s movement, pulse, and breathing.

The new models also offer breathing exercises to relax and focus and introduce new activity profiles for high-intensity training with on-screen animations and graphs showing the muscle groups used. In addition, these devices gain activities such as indoor climbing, bouldering, and hiking.

Venu 2 and Venu 2S Features

Other new features of these smartwatches include health snapshots that allow you to record and share key stats based on the user’s actual age, along with activity, resting heart rate, body fat, and other health information.

The autonomy of the smartwatches in the Venu 2 range reaches up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, which drops to 8 hours in GPS mode with music, or 10 days and 7 hours for the smaller Venu 2S model.

The new models also support features like all-day health monitoring, smart notifications, contactless payments, music playlists from Spotify, and other apps.
