We continue to deal with the Google Pixel 6 series, a smartphone that the Mountain View giant has already anticipated in recent months and which should officially launch in October. Now a new smartphone in the series, the Google Pixel 6 Pro appears on Geekbench.
Among the strengths of the new generation of Google smartphones, there will be Tensor, a processor created by Google itself. It should guarantee users an improved experience thanks to the optimization offered and the perfect integration between software and hardware.
Google Pixel 6 Pro appears in the Geekbench database
In the past few hours, Google Pixel 6 Pro has appeared in the Geekbench database, a smartphone that was able to achieve 881 points in single-core and 2,938 points in multi-core.
The database of the popular benchmark test gives us some interesting details about the Tensor processor, which can count on a three-cluster configuration: two cores (probably Cortex-X1) are capable of running at 2.84 GHz, two cores (probably Cortex-A78) they arrive at 2.25 GHz and 4 other cores (probably Cortex-A55) stop at 1.80 GHz. Expectations are quite high and Tensor is expected to be more powerful than Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and 888 Plus and Samsung Exynos 2100.
Known by the codename Whitechapel, the Tensor processor should be made with 5nm technology and Samsung is probably the company that Google has entrusted with this task.
Also according to the Geekbench database, the phone should be able to count on 12 GB of RAM and, of course, on Android 12.
Among the other features of Google Pixel 6 Pro, we should feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, a 12-megapixel front camera, a triple rear camera (with 50-megapixel primary sensor, a telephoto lens from 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle) and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
According to the latest rumors, the official debut on the market of the Google Pixel 6 range would be scheduled for October 28th. We’ll see.
