As it prepares to launch the Mate 50 Pro, Huawei is investing in different segments of the technology market. The brand has now bet on a new smart speaker called Huawei Sound Joy — which, by the way, works with HarmonyOS, the brand’s popular operating system. The speaker is produced in partnership with the famous French brand Devialet and will be launched in international markets.
Huawei Sound Joy Speaker adopts a portable design and comes with multiple smart features. In addition, it has a voice assistant with Artificial Intelligence that can be synchronized with the smart voice assistant of the connected smartphone.
The speaker is available in Obsidian Black and Fir Green. Although it is made of special fabric, which gives it a dynamic look and a comfortable feel, the company guarantees a robust protective design. The device comes with IP67 water resistance certification.
Huawei Sound Joy Features
In terms of audio composition, Sound Joy features a 79 dBA 2 m Devialet 2-way speaker system synchronized with Devialet SAM technology that organizes the signal and acoustic output pressure.
In particular, the box features a full-frequency 20W speaker, dual-push passive radiator, and a 10W silk dome tweeter. Overall, the arrangement provides a high-volume, crystal-clear sound event with low-frequency sensitivity.
The 8800mAh battery promises 26 hours of continuous music playback. In addition, Sound Joy comes with a 40W super-fast charging stand, which allows the user to fill the battery for one hour in just 10 minutes.
Sound Joy also offers auto-pairing, Bluetooth 5.2, IoT device controls, and more. Users simply need to shake the speaker to achieve stereo pairing with smartphones. You can control music playback with a simple tap and connect by placing devices on a particular track.
