iPhone 13 Pink Screen Issue is Caused by a Software Bug

After several user reports regarding the iPhone 13 pink screen issue, Apple finally enters the matter. The issue mainly occurred in China, so the Apple China support team has issued a statement clarifying that the issue causing the pink screen on some iPhone 13 units is actually caused by a software bug. The note was shared on the social network Weibo this weekend.

In addition to the pink screen, users also reported various issues such as flashback, automatic restart, and other problems.

According to the Apple manufacturer’s team, after an investigation, it was found that the hardware is working correctly and that it is not necessary to change the display, for example.

We didn’t notice relevant problems in the hardware of the devices because this situation [pink screen] is caused when the system is locked.

In its note, Apple also advises users to backup their data and install the latest update available to rule out the incompatibility between the app version and the iOS version. However, iOS version 15.3 doesn’t bring any mention of the pink screen bug. So, we don’t know if the problem will be fixed with this update.

It is understood that this pink screen problem involves iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it is almost the whole series.
