Jeep Avenger 4×4 Unveiled With a More Robust Look

The Paris Motor Show featured a new version of the Jeep Avenger (electric model), which was presented in a more aggressive, 4×4 version. In July, the automaker launched another car, which in this case was the Compass, which, in addition to being a 4×4, is a vehicle that hit the market with a diesel engine.

To follow this same line, the manufacturer added new elements to the car’s design. For example, it has larger tires and slightly more exuberant fenders, which, in addition to the traction on the wheels, make this vehicle suitable for driving on roads and dirt roads. It also has a differentiated system for attaching suitcases to the ceiling.

Still, on the visual side, the company made a point of investing in a higher-quality coating for the car’s paintwork. In this way, it tends to be more durable even if the vehicle travels along trails that can cause damage and some scratches.

Unlike the Renegade, which may have a Limited version in 2023, the Jeep Avenger 4×4 is an electric model. In that sense, it comes with an electrically powered motor on the front axle, and a battery-powered drive is located on the rear axle. However, only the first had some details revealed.

The component must have a power of 156 hp, in addition to 26.5 kgfm of torque. Still, there is an expectation that the Jeep vehicle will have similar specifications to the other engine, which would leave the item with a total power that exceeds 300 horsepower. The battery, in turn, is 54 kWh and promises a range of 550 km.

The brand also talked about some details about charging, which promises to recharge from 20% to 80% in around 20 minutes. Now, for those who want a faster charge at a 100 kW station, three minutes is enough to give the car another 30 km of autonomy on the road.
