Microsoft Brings Performance Improvements to Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS

Microsoft claims that it has introduced major performance improvements to Xbox Cloud Gaming for devices using iOS. Last week, the company said it will implement mouse and keyboard support for Xbox Cloud games soon.

“At Xbox Cloud Gaming, we listen to and value player feedback. You asked for a better iOS experience, and as a result, we have brought major performance improvements to all supported iPhone and iPad devices. With these updates, you should have a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience.”

In September 2021, the service was launched for iPhone and iPad, but by Apple rules, it doesn’t have a dedicated app on the App Store. It alleges that Microsoft violates the online store’s guidelines. Users need to use the Safari browser to access the games catalog and choose the desired title.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is included with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership and allows you to play titles from the catalog on mobile devices and computers. Not all games support the functionality, but Microsoft has been expanding its library.
