Razer Kaira X Headset Announced for Xbox and PlayStation

Razer has announced a new wired headset model for Xbox and PlayStation. The so-called Razer Kaira X will be sold in versions with different themes to match the controller designs of both consoles, so players can purchase a combined setup.

In addition, the brand has announced new universal charger support for Xbox controllers and some of the brand’s existing accessories aimed at the Microsoft console have also been given new colors to match the controllers.

In September alone, Razer has made three other major releases: Wolverine V2 Chroma controller for Xbox Series X|S and Arctech cooling case for iPhone 13, plus gamer gloves and a gaming keyboard said to be the “world’s fastest”.

See below for more details on the Razer Kaira X headset and new Xbox accessories:

Razer Kaira X

Razer Kaira X Features

The Razer Kaira X is equipped with TriForce 50 mm drivers and includes the HyperClear Cardioid microphone, which has a voice pickup pattern designed to cut ambient noise, both of which are proprietary technologies of the brand.

In addition, the headset includes built-in audio adjustment controls. For extra comfort, Flowknit foam cushions were used on the headphones, as well as extra cushions on the headband.

It is an overall practical headset. What calls the most attention to this novelty is the variety of colors: the Xbox version can be purchased in Carbon Black, Robot White, Shock Blue, Pulse Red, and Electric Volt.

The Razer Kaira X for PlayStation model looks similar to what we see on the DualSense controller. Thus, the headphones have a look based on black and white with the Razer logo in blue.

Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox Controllers

The new universal charger stand for Xbox controllers also comes in a wide range of colors to match your console’s wireless controller. It is possible to charge the Xbox Wireless Controller while showing it as a decorative item.

It works with all Xbox One and Series X and S controller versions, except for the Elite Series 2. It can be purchased in Carbon Black, Robot White, Shock Blue, Pulse Red, Electric Volt, and Aqua Shift.

Finally, Razer has added new color options for several accessories aimed at the Xbox controller. The original Kaira wireless headset, the Kaira Pro, and the old version of the Wolverine V2 controller (but not the recently-announced Chroma version) are available in white color.
