Red Dead Redemption 2 Gets AMD FSR 2.0 Support (Unofficial)

FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 (FSR 2.0) technology was introduced by AMD in March with impressive results in upscaling games to bring even more quality to games with the same hardware you already own. And it’s now possible to play Red Dead Redemption 2 with this new feature thanks to a standalone patch.

The mod created for Red Dead Redemption 2 is based on the patch created for Cyberpunk 2077, which has also gained support for FSR 2.0, in the same way, thanks to developer PotatoOfDoom. This modification basically replaces the DLSS implementation in the game to raise the graphics performance impressively as you can see in the video below:

Obviously, it is necessary to remember that there are still some bugs when using this mod, but they should be resolved soon through the community, after all, FSR 2.0 is open source, allowing its benefits to not be restricted to AMD GPUs.

The mod can be downloaded from the Github link below, which is maintained in the repository by RealIndica, the developer responsible for the build released today for Red Dead Redemption 2.

It is worth remembering that it is necessary to use DirectX 12 APIs and not Vulkan and disable the services of the online game mode to use this mod, otherwise, the game will not work. You can find all the instructions in the link above.
