Reno 6 Pro 5G Gets Multiple Certifications

Less than two months after the announcement of the Oppo Reno5 Z 5G, the successor of the smartphone is already starting to show signs of launching very soon. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G receives multiple certifications such as SIRIM and NBTC. The handset along with other phones in the Reno 6 series is likely to launch on May 22.

The device in question was registered with a certification body in Malaysia, SIRIM. The certification confirms the model number CPH2237 and the name Reno6 Z 5G. However, no specifications details to images of the handset are available right now.

As the Reno 4 Z came as a renamed version of the F19 Pro Plus 5G, it is very likely that Oppo will maintain this strategy. It should present the Reno 6 Z 5G maintaining the design, body and specifications of another existing model, but with a different name for the global market.

Just yesterday, the handset appeared on TENAA revealing its square body design, reminiscent of the new iPhone 12. But now the most powerful models in the line have been unveiled at TENAA. The listing confirms the curved front panel on both models, Reno 6 Pro 5G and on the Reno 6 Pro Plus 5G.

The Pro model will come with a Dimensity 1200 chip, a 6.55-inch screen with Full HD resolution. There will be four rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor and a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W of charging.

The Pro Plus model will adopt the powerful Snapdragon 870 chip and much better cameras. A 50MP main sensor, a 16MP sensor for the ultrawide lens, a 13MP sensor for the telephoto lens, and one of the only 2MP for depth.
