ROG Phone 3 Gets Android 12 Stable Update

A couple of months after rolling out the Android 12 update to the ROG phone 5, Asus now starts the stable roll-out of the Android 12 update to the ROG phone 3. The manufacturer released the first beta for the model in mid-May and the final build arrived just over a month later.

According to information, the new firmware comes with version 31.0210.0210.230 and brings the devices of the model to Android 12, a little late, given that Android 13 is coming.

Asus promised the Android 12 update for the ROG Phone 3 a long time ago, but the progress of the update program has been slow on this gaming-oriented model. Anyway, we can say that it’s better late than never.

The new version adds some improvements to Asus’ own ZenUI user interface. The Asus Safeguard module has been removed to make way for Android 12’s Emergency SOS option and several apps have been updated with new features and code optimizations.

The update is being released gradually and owners of the model in question can now check if their device already has the content available.
