Sennheiser Momentum 4 Headphones Announced

Sennheiser, a German manufacturer of advanced headphones, announced the new Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless headphones. This new pair of wireless headphones bring a new design and specifications that promise great advantages against rival models – such as the Apple AirPods Max and the recently released Sony WH-1000XM5.

The Momentum 4 comes with 42mm drivers angled towards the user’s ear. Its performance in voice calls received good improvements to attenuate noise, according to the company. With a new design, the headphones now offer adaptive noise cancellation and do away with physical buttons.

The accessories have a new “Transparency Mode” which, through its gesture controls that replace the buttons distributed on its body, allows the user to have a better idea of the environment they are in, without the need to remove the headphones. Upon returning to normal playback, the user returns to the immersive experience.

Still talking about its touch-sensitive controls, Sennheiser has added a new “pinch” gesture that lets you adjust noise cancellation and ambient sound.

The Momentum 4 has usage detectors that pause music or video playback when the wearer removes the accessory. Auto On/Off allows the headphones to save battery power by automatically turning off after a certain period of disuse.

Lastly speaking of battery, one of the biggest highlights of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphone is its long autonomy of up to 60 hours of continuous playback. In addition, the earbuds have fast charging that adds 6 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. The battery has a total capacity of 700 mAh and takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

The headphones feature manageable EQ via the Sennheiser Smart Control app and Sound Personalization. In addition, with Bluetooth 5.2, the model supports long range and offers SBC, AAC, aptX, and aptX adaptive codecs, as well as A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP profiles.
