Asus “confirmed” yet another feature of the Zenfone 8. In the last few weeks, the brand has been taking full advantage of its profiles on social networks to give tips on what we can expect from the next model and has even shown the image of the phone’s silhouette without the rotating camera mechanism of the company’s last two generations of top-of-the-line.
Now, the Taiwanese have just revealed that the phone will have an IP68 certification for resistance against water and dust. Check out the tweet below:
Wouldn’t it be nice if you and I were Protected, 6oth of us? 😌https://t.co/ig6HaxNLtQ #Zenfone8 #BigonPerformanceCompactinSize

In the tweet, Asus asks the followers if it would not be good if we were all protected and, in the video, it quickly shows the digits 68. If it was not enough, the caption inserted in the media already reveals the puzzle: “IP68”.
Asus will launch new models of the Zenfone 8 series on November 12. The series includes Zenfone 8, 8 Pro, and Zenfone 8 Mini. Check out, below, some of the specifications of the Pro model in the series:
- 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ screen
