After the important leak of the 91mobiles revealing that the Zenfone 8 Mini, in fact, it will be called Zenfone 8 and that the Zenfone 8 Flip will not be a foldable smartphone. Another leak reveals the Asus Zenfone 8 Mini specifications of the compact model with a screen of 5.9 inches.
A tweet from leaker Mukul Sharma reveals that the Zenfone 8 will offer an AMOLED display produced by Samsung. It’ll have a Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to adopting a Gorilla Glass Victus glass panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The compact high-performance smartphone from Asus will be driven by the powerful Snapdragon 888 processor and will be sold with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The dimensions will be 148 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm, slightly larger than the main competitor, the iPhone 12 mini.
The Asus Zenfone 8 Mini specifications also include a 4,000 mAh battery with a 30W charge, three microphones with OZO audio technology, and two rear cameras: a 64 MP main with Sony IMX686 sensor and a 12 MP with a wide-angle lens that will also be used for macro shots.
The leak only reinforces everything we expect from the Zenfone 8, but there are still no details for the Zenfone 8 Flip, which will reuse the design of the Zenfone 7, but with new sensors in the set of rotating cameras and a new processor.
