Carl Pei is Going to Start ‘Nothing’

After weeks of rumors and speculations, Carl Pei, former director and co-founder of OnePlus, announces his new venture “Nothing”. Despite not having officially specified the job niche, the company aims to innovate within the technology market. Some are saying that it’s going to be a ‘smart devices’ company.

Even without having confirmed it, the strongest speculation regarding Nothing is that it will be focused on audio. This is even more clear in the teaser that was posted on the official profile of the brand on Instagram. Where it shows that the new company is willing to bring renovations to the niche.

The company headquarters is in London and, according to Carl Pei, it is coming to be a technology company focusing on consumption. Bringing a vision of the future that has never been seen, but there are still no products to exemplify in practice how this innovation will be so beaded in the teaser.

To open the venture, Carl had a capital of US $ 7 million, which originated from several investors who bet on the idea, such as Tony Fadell (inventor of the iPod), Kevin Lin (co-founder of Twitch), Steve Huffman (co (founder and CEO of Reddit), Josh Buckley (CEO of Product Hunt) and Casey Neistat, a YouTuber worldwide known for high-quality image and sound vlogs.

So, now just wait to see what the executive is preparing to achieve innovation within the tech world.
