Leading drone maker DJI has announced a new model to its mini drone series, the DJI Mini 3. Not to be confused with the DJI Mini 3 Pro that was announced earlier this year, this new model can record 4K HDR video and 12-megapixel photos using the company’s True Vertical Shooting with the drone’s camera.
The camera can rotate 90 degrees to capture content in a vertical aspect ratio just like the Mini 3 Pro can. It has a Type 1/1.3 CMOS sensor and a fixed f/1.7 aperture lens and sensors with pixels “as large as 2.4 μm,” resulting in improvement in low light performance.
DJI Mini 3 is a compact, ultra-lightweight camera drone built for adventure. It features extended battery life, detail-rich 4K HDR video, and fun features like True Vertical Shooting for social-media-optimized shots. Whether you’re capturing an epic road trip, or just a day in your own backyard, Mini 3 is up for the moment.
