Dying Light’s Next-Gen Update Arrives for PlayStation

Techland has recently released Dying Light 2 and is still working on improvements to the game. Now the developer has announced the release of Dying Light’s next-gen update for the PlayStation consoles. The update package for the first game in the franchise brings improvements to the game’s performance on PS5 and PS4 Pro.

On PS5, the game now has three graphics modes: Performance, Balanced, and Quality.

  • Performance: 60fps and Full HD resolution (1920×1080)
  • Balanced: 60fps and QHD 1440p (2560 x 1440)
  • Quality: 30fps and 4K resolution

Already on PS4 Pro, players will be able to enjoy the title with 30 fps, in addition to network improvements using the EOS solution.

Unfortunately, the upgrade doesn’t come with features for the DualSense, PS5 controller. The developer ends the statement by revealing that it will also bring game improvements to the new Xbox Series S/X.
