Samsung has launched the much-awaited new Galaxy S23 series which includes the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. The devices reach the Indian market as a sober evolution in relation to last year’s models. The top-of-the-line S23 Ultra model comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 200MP camera sensor.
Another important highlight is the increase in the battery capacity of some models, in addition to adjustments in the field of design to deliver more environmentally friendly smartphones. According to Samsung, the Galaxy S23 series brings the highest amount of reused material in the history of Galaxy devices.
Another important highlight is that the three smartphones bring a 25-watt charger in the box. The colors available for smartphones are black, cream, green, and violet.
Starting with the display, the three smartphones feature a Dynamic AMOLED panel, but the Galaxy S23 is 6.1 inches and the S23 Plus adopts 6.6 inches. Both have Full HD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra uses the same panel at the same rate, but its size goes up to 6.8 inches and the resolution jumps to Quad HD Plus. A subtle change on this handset is that the display’s curvature is now a bit flatter than on the S22 Ultra.
The trio uses the unprecedented “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy” processor. Samsung has introduced a 3.33GHz overclocked variant of Qualcomm’s chip into the devices.
