Google Pixel 5a With 5G Finally Announced

It took time, as often happens with Google, but finally, the time has come to see the Google Pixel 5a. The phone is officially announced today with a press release and without too much fuss and it seems to be nothing more than a reinterpretation of the Google Pixel 5 launched last fall.

However, the Pixel 5a comes with a few changes here and there, for better or for worse, and this means that it comes with an all technical datasheet. As we said, the phone is the same as the Google Pixel 5, which means that it has the same technical specs as the Pixel 5 except for a display with a larger diagonal and equal to 6.34 inches with refresh rate only at 60 Hz, a battery of 4650 mAh without induction charging and 6 GB of RAM; everything else is identical.

The Google Pixel 5a integrates all the best of the Google experience and includes all the smart functions seen in previous Google Pixels. Thanks to complete, simple, beautifully snappy, and customizable software as required. It is based on Android 11, but will obviously be updated to Android 12 and later versions, as per Google’s policy, for 3 years.
