Huawei has finally announced the P50 and P50 Pro smartphones along with the Watch GT 2 Pro ECG and Band 6 Pro smartwatches. The launch of the new Huawei P50 series comes after a series of leaks that have already revealed some details of the Huawei P50 handset. Starting with the design, both handsets look a lot alike, adopting a minimalist look with two circular modules inside a larger one to accommodate their main cameras.
The main difference between them is the presence of a 40MP monochrome secondary camera, which is only present on the Pro variant, which has 4 main sensors developed in partnership with Leica.
Going a bit further we have a 50MP main sensor on both with a 23mm lens, f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilization. The P50 Pro has a 40MP (26mm) B&W secondary lens with an f/1.6 aperture, which is not present on the standard P50. The next sensor is an ultra-wide-angle 13 megapixel f/2.2 and the set closes with a 12 megapixel telephoto with 5x zoom that also has optical stabilization, but on the P50 Pro comes with 64MP.
