Now Sync Your Favorite Google Photos With Apple Photos

Google Photos app now receives an interesting feature which allows Google service users on iOS to integrate with Apple Photos to keep their favorites images on both platforms. The news was announced by Google itself in the Google Photos help forum and can be activated within the settings of the application itself.

How to Sync Google Photos With Apple Photos

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Google Photos Photos.
  2. At the top right, tap your account profile photo.
  3. Tap Photos Settings Settings.
  4. Tap Apple Photos.
  5. Tap Sync favorites On.
  6. Tap Turn on sync or Turn off sync.

The operation is simple: when you bookmark a photo in Apple Photos it will be available as a favorite in Google Photos as well. The same thing will happen if you take action on Google Photos first. Removing the image from favorites on one of the photo storage services is also removed from the other.

The option can be activated and deactivated at any time, so you don’t need to keep it always on if you don’t want to, since syncing images to Google Photos on iOS is automatic when you download the app.
