We’re regularly updating about news and leaks of the OnePlus 9 series. Now a new leak about the OnePlus 9 Pro surfaces hinting that there will be 45W fast wireless charging support. A few days back, it was leaked that the OnePlus 9 Lite will come with Snapdragon 865 chipset.
According to leaker Max Jambor, of the Voice portal, the most advanced model in the OnePlus 9 series will hit the market with support for 45W wireless fast charging technology. This support, however, is not unprecedented in OnePlus phones.
It is similar to what is already known in another model, the OnePlus 8 Pro, which, however, has a slightly lower speed, with 30W power for wireless charging.
In addition to the Pro version, another device in the series, the “common” OnePlus 9, is also expected to get support for fast wireless charging. But at a lower speed, according to the leaker responsible for the most recent leaks. Jambor was unable to specify the power of the wireless charger for the normal version of the series. However, other rumors suggest that it will feature 30W technology for wireless charging, as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro and 65W for the common charger.
Another highlight of the OnePlus 9 Pro is its support for reverse wireless charging. That is, it can be used to charge other devices, such as headphones, for example, or even other cell phones, as long as it is compatible with wireless charging. However, of course, the charging speed of other accessories or cell phones will be somewhat limited and will not have the 45W power of the Chinese cell phone’s wireless charger.
