OnePlus Introduces the Lava Red Variant of the OnePlus 5T in India

After starting the open sale of 2017 flagship device the OnePlus 5T, the company has now made available the handset in a new Lava Red colour model in the Indian market. At the launch time, it was only available in the Midnight Black colour. However, the new Lava Red is only available for the 128Gb storage variant of the handset.

OnePlus 5T is an upgraded variant of the company’s OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone launched in 2017 priced at Rs. 37,999 ($595). Besides the colour, we don’t find any other change in the handset when compared to original Midnight Black model.

Now there are total 3 OnePlus 5T variants, the original Midnight Black, the Lava Red and the Star Wars edition.

Specifications and Availability of OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition

As mentioned earlier, we don’t find any change in the hardware or the software, besides the colour in the OnePlus 5T Lava Red. It features a 6.01-inch full-HD + (1080×2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display and driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The smartphone comes with 6/ 8GB RAM and up to 128GB inbuilt storage. There is a dual camera setup at the rear with a combination of 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. On the front, sits another 16-megapixel camera.

There is not a big, but a decent 3300mAh non-removable battery supported with Dash Charge. The OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition will be available online via Amazon.in and OnwPlus Store, as well as offline via select Croma stores and OnePlus experience zones in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
