PlayStation Now to Get Support for 1080p Resolution Playback

PlayStation’s cloud game streaming service, PlayStation Now will finally start receiving the option to play games with 1080p resolution. The news was shared by PlayStation itself on its official Twitter page.

In the publication, the company explains that the PlayStation Now service will start receiving support for playing games in 1080p for compatible games starting this week. The company also points out that, over the next few weeks, this feature will be expanded to more regions around Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan, places where PS Now is officially available.

It is important to note that, as the company implies in the publication, not all games available in the PS Now catalog will receive support for 1080p playback. PlayStation does not exemplify which games will be compatible and it does not help if it will provide a list of eligible titles over the next few days. So it is necessary to wait for the resource to arrive to see which game can be played in high resolution.

Unfortunately, PS Now is not yet available in India. However, a few days ago, we saw that the company finally started to disclose plans to ship in India. But, for now, we still do not have an estimate of the arrival of the service here.
