Qualcomm Confirms Livestream of Keynotes at Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2020

After confirming that its next major event would take place in December, Qualcomm has just made all the details of the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020 official. It’s an annual event in which the company discusses the multiple segments in which it operates and in particular demonstrates news from the Snapdragon chip family.

This year, Tech Summit takes place differently: presentations and lectures will be completely digital, being broadcast to the press and the public through Qualcomm’s official website, the manufacturer’s YouTube channel, and posts on the company’s Twitter profile.

“From music to navigation, mobile gaming, video, and photography to productivity tools, today’s smartphone is the preferred platform for the services and connected experiences we depend on every day. It is innovation in the premium tier that has made the smartphone our essential device,” said Cristiano Amon, president, Qualcomm Incorporated. “At this year’s Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2020, we are excited to show you what the next generation of premium 5G mobile experiences will enable.”

The company will also announce some news regarding the latest flagship Snapdragon 5G mobile platform. The keynotes will be broadcast on December 1 and 2 at 7 a.m. PT daily (around 8:30 pm IST) with Qualcomm executives and leaders from throughout the mobile industry.

The event will be chaired by Qualcomm’s president, Christiano Amon, and promises to present news about “the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G mobile platform”. The long-awaited Snapdragon 875 is expected to be presented at last, alongside the more modest brother Snapdragon 775.
