Days after a few screenshots of the Star Wars: Hunters game surfaced on the internet, developer Zynga released a new cinematic trailer. Along with the Star Wars Hunters trailer, the developer also confirmed that the release date has been pushed back.
When Star Wars: Hunters was announced, Zynga revealed that it planned to release it on Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch later this year, but like many other games, the coronavirus pandemic must have derailed the studio’s plans.
Through the new trailer, we can see that the release has been pushed back to sometime in 2022, so more material is expected to be released in the future to confirm the official date. Check out the trailer below:
The video shows a Mandalorian mercenary and a Sith warrior fighting in a scenario very similar to those on the planet Tatooine, where we can see a little more of the cartoon style of the game. The clash is then interrupted by a ferocious Wookie and a Stormtrooper, where we can see that the game will be peppered with references to the franchise, just as fans love.
