The Launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in India is Scheduled for March 6

Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be launched in India starting 6 March. For online go to Samsung’s own e-store website and pay Rs 2,000. During pre-booking, buyers will have to give details such as name, mobile number, email id, and smartphone colour. As soon as the pre-booking will be done. The buyer will get the confirmation of registration through SMS or mail.

After pre-booking, information about Samsung or authorized third party balance amount will be given. This amount will be paid when taking the phone. If the balance amount is not credited to a specific date, the pre-booking amount will be refunded within 7 days. Customers who want to pre-book handsets from Samsung’s offline store, have to book from the outlet through a pre-book app. Here also the booking amount will be Rs. 2,000.

In the US market, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S9 starts at $719.99 (about Rs 46,600). At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ 64GB storage variant will be available at $839.99 (about Rs 54,663 ). In India, the price of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will rise only after the launch.

Both phones in the Galaxy S9 family are equipped with a 10nm 64-bit octa-core chipset. There will be three variants based on storage – 64, 128 and 256GB. All three variants will support up to 400 GB microSD card. You’ll get Android 8 Oreo experience out of the box. The connectivity feature includes Gigabit LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, USB-Type C, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack. Both phones have an 8megapixel front camera with F/1.7 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Curved Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display, 4GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery. The super speed dual pixel in the phone is a 12-megapixel autofocus sensor that is equipped with optical image stabilization. Its thickness is 8.5 millimetres and weighs 163 grams.

At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a 6.2-inch quad HD+ curved super AMOLED 18.5:9 display, 6GB RAM and 3500 mAh battery. The phone has a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixels. The thickness of this phone is 8.5 millimetres and weighing 189 grams.
