The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Announced for Switch

During the extensive Nintendo Direct, with numerous new features, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD also announced. The Japanese tech giant also confirms the launch new Golf game for Mario, and Splatoon 3.

Receiving renewed visuals and optimization for the Switch, similar to what was done in the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, Skyward Sword HD will also include a system of reworked controls for the joy-cons. At its launch, this was one of the most criticized points for the inconsistency of motion controls on the Wii.

Fans of the franchise also received an extra treat in the form of a special joy-cons package themed with Skyward Sword. In blue and purple colors, representing the Master Sword, the controls are adorned by various symbols from the game universe, such as the Triforce. The features come with a sequence of limited editions of the Switch, such as the recently announced version of Monster Hunter: Rise.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2021. Interested users can already pre-order the game on the North American Nintendo eShop, costing the US $ 59.99.
