Finally, the OnePlus 6 smartphone is going to be unveiled in India and the same date is also set for the China launch. OnePlus officially announced on Wednesday that the company is going to hold a launch event on May 17 in Mumbai. The event is at 3 pm in India, while the launch event of the phone in China will be held at 10 a.m.
It’s worth mentioning here that the OnePlus is holding a launch event for the OnePlus 6 on May 16 in London.
The company has started to sell entry vouchers for the event in public places. However, we don’t have any information about the price of the voucher. The live broadcast of the OnePlus 6 launch event will be done on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
OnePlus said in a press note, “Over the past four years, OnePlus has been built and shaped around its community. To celebrate the announcement of OnePlus 6 in India, the company will host the biggest ever community event in its history.”
The information about the OnePlus 6 launch event was started surfacing right after the Amazon-OnePlus partnership news broke out. The company is promoting the upcoming smartphone with, “The speed you need” tagline.
Along with the regular variant, the company will also launch the OnePlus 6 Avengers Infinity War limited edition in India which has been produced in the partnership of Marvel Studios.
